A woman took her five-year-old daughter shopping with her.
The little girl watched her mother try on outfit after outfit,
exclaiming each time,
“Mommy, you look beautiful!”
A woman in the next dressing room called out,
“Can I borrow your daughter for a moment?”
中文譯文：
一個女人帶著她 5 歲的女兒去購物，
女兒看著她媽媽一件又一件地試穿外衣，
每一次都驚叫說：
“媽媽，你真好看！”
在隔壁試衣室的女人喊著說：
“我能不能借你的女兒用一下？”
丁老師備註：
🔷Took → v.帶著（這邊是指帶著她女兒），然後在形容這事情的時候是指過去的事情，比較像是在說故事般，所以用過去式定錨，現在式為take。
🔷Watch → v.看著（這邊也是用過去式watched），然後同學可能會注意到一點，watch後面又來一個try，這怎麼行，雙動詞耶！注意囉！感官動詞（watch）加受詞（her mother），再加原形動詞（try），表事實，所以是ok的唷！（常見感官動詞：look/ watch/ see/ hear/ listen/ feel/ notice/ smell）
